Innocent Summer

I love this editorial by Yaniv Edry (who is one of Israel's top photographers) in 360 maalot magazine, from two years ago. Just timeless.

Jonathan+Olivia

I came across this blog which is apparently of a Canadian boutique by the same name. They store the coolest and trendiest designers out there like Vanessa Bruno, Band of Outsiders, Isabel Marant and opening ceremony to name a few. I love the simple but chic presentation of the garments in the pictures they post in their blog. It's just effortlessly cool.

Prada Look Book S/S 09

The new Prada look book for spring summer 2009 is incredible. The use of sculptures as models (well, I guess they also used real models, but still) is such an original idea, and as an art history student I love it even more. I might never look at a classical sculpture the same, as I'll start dressing it in Prada garments. What could be better?

The collaboration is between Miuccia Prada and the architect Rem Koolhaas and his Amo agency team. The photos are by Philip Meech.

Starry Night

La Blogotheque is one of my favorite blogs out there. The videos they film are so magical. The idea of taking musicians out of the stage and into the streets, while breaking down the barrier between them and their audience is touching.
The concept was created by two Parisian guys, Chryde and Vincent Moon in 2006, and what started as  small and experimental music videos has now expended to quit a large scale website with followers from all around the world who pursue Moon's beautiful filmmaking.
When I lived in Paris last year I secretly wanted to "bump" into one of their shoots, but unfortunately I never did. Ironically Vincent Moon shot some videos in Israel while I was still in Paris...
Here are some stunning stills taken from the videos, found in Moon's Flicker.

The Graduate

One of my favorite movies. Such a classic. I love everything about it. The styling is so simple, but so right to every character and every scene.
Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross are just stunning. And Dustin Hoffman, well, he's Dustin Hoffman. No words needed...
