Making it

Now that I've got some time off from school, and I no longer need to read essays about a painter or some wars (as my second major is history), I'm trying to find some things to do until next month, when I'll fly to America...
so, I'm currently in a DIY mood! I just made some little presents for my sister's birthday. I made her a necklace (which i forgot to photograph) and some notebooks, inspired by the lovely Mila. (There is even an Iconography notebook! merchandise!)
Also, here are some of my purchases from Italy.
(sorry for the photos poor quality. I'm too lazy to use a real camera, and not my cellphone)

I hope you had a great weekend!

Back

I just came back from the amazing Italy last night, and already gotten a wisdom tooth removed. Half of my face is currently sedated.
Now that I got the internet back in my life, I'd like to share these beautiful photos by Roni Knaani and styled by Yael Livne. See all of them in Walla Fashion.

Ciao

I am leaving in a few hours for a much needed vacation in Italy. I'm very excited to finally meet in person Botticelli's Venus and Michelangelo's David, and see all the places I've studied about in the past year.

I will be in Rome for a day, and then a week in Tuscany. So if you know some nice places to go, see and shop, I would love to read your recommendations, as it has been far too long since my last visit to Italy.

I hope I will have the time to update the blog from there, but if not, have a great weekend and see you when I'll get back!

Plans

I am pretty much done with University for this year. These photos summarize what I want to do for the rest of the summer, until my whirlwind travels will begin.

What are you up to this summer?

Channeling the 60's

Anna Karina, Jane Birkin, Serge Gainsbourg, Francoise Hardy and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
How timeless is the style of that era.

Fly me to the Moon

A small tribute to Apollo's 40th anniversary. All the movies I've seen in the past few days about it make me want to be an astronaut!

The little Mermaid

These beautiful handmade tights are by an Israeli textile designer Gal Stern.
You can purchase Gal's tights here as well as at some shops in Tel Aviv.

They remind me of the amazing costumes Miki Avni made for Batsheva dance company in Sharon Eyal's Bertolina.

Another reason why I want it to be autumn already.
