Starry Night

La Blogotheque is one of my favorite blogs out there. The videos they film are so magical. The idea of taking musicians out of the stage and into the streets, while breaking down the barrier between them and their audience is touching.
The concept was created by two Parisian guys, Chryde and Vincent Moon in 2006, and what started as  small and experimental music videos has now expended to quit a large scale website with followers from all around the world who pursue Moon's beautiful filmmaking.
When I lived in Paris last year I secretly wanted to "bump" into one of their shoots, but unfortunately I never did. Ironically Vincent Moon shot some videos in Israel while I was still in Paris...
Here are some stunning stills taken from the videos, found in Moon's Flicker.

The Graduate

One of my favorite movies. Such a classic. I love everything about it. The styling is so simple, but so right to every character and every scene.
Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross are just stunning. And Dustin Hoffman, well, he's Dustin Hoffman. No words needed...

Elisa Nalin

I first saw Elisa Nalin's styling work after I saw her amazing apartment in The Selby. The amount of shoes and other accessories she's got in her little apartment is so incredible! It's almost as if she's got a little thrift shop going on there. Then I saw a link to her portfolios, full of lovely and inspiring work by Elisa for magazines like Lula and Dazed & Confused and photographers like Lina Scheynius.

Take a look...

You Belong to Me

See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sun rise on a tropic isle
Just remember, darling, all the while
You belong to me.

See the marketplace in old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
But remember when a dream appears
You belong to me.

Ill be so alone without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too---and blue

Fly the ocean in a silver plane
Watch the jungle when its wet with rain
Just remember till you're home again
You belong to me.
